Corporate Video Production Bristol: Filming Tractebel’s New Bristol Office Inauguration
When Tractebel ENGIE opened its new Bristol office, it wasn’t just an opportunity to celebrate a growing team – it was a chance to showcase the people, projects and partnerships driving the company’s expansion across the UK. Bristol Video Co. was commissioned to film the inauguration, producing a corporate film that combined executive interviews, event coverage and cinematic B-roll to document the occasion.
As specialists in Corporate Video Production Bristol, we work with organisations across engineering, manufacturing, technology and professional services to create video content that communicates expertise with clarity and authenticity. For this project, our objective was to produce a film that captured the atmosphere of the event while highlighting Tractebel’s contribution to major UK infrastructure projects and the collaborative culture behind its success.
Supporting the UK’s Energy Infrastructure
Tractebel is an international engineering consultancy delivering projects across energy, infrastructure and sustainable development. The expansion of its Bristol office reflects the city’s growing importance within the UK’s engineering sector and places the team closer to many of the country’s largest infrastructure programmes.
During the event, we interviewed senior colleagues, clients and project partners to discuss the work being delivered across the UK. Conversations focused on Tractebel’s involvement in nationally significant projects including Hinkley Point C in Somerset and Sizewell C in Suffolk. Both projects represent long-term investment in Britain’s energy infrastructure and demonstrate the level of technical expertise required across engineering, design and project management.
Rather than producing a series of standalone interviews, the objective was to create a single narrative that connected the people behind these projects with the wider ambitions of the business.
Showcasing Company Culture Through Video
Corporate events are often one of the few opportunities to capture employees, clients and leadership together in a relaxed environment. While the inauguration celebrated the opening of a new office, it also provided an opportunity to document the people who make the organisation successful.
Tractebel’s Bristol team may be relatively small, but it brings together engineers and consultants from a wide range of disciplines and backgrounds. Throughout the evening we focused on genuine conversations, introductions between colleagues and interactions with clients, helping to communicate the collaborative nature of the business without relying on scripted content.
Networking throughout the venue, speeches, champagne receptions and informal conversations all contributed to the final film, providing visual context alongside the interviews and reflecting the atmosphere of the event.

Corporate Video Production Bristol: Executive Interviews That Build Credibility
The interviews formed the foundation of the production and were designed to feel natural while maintaining a polished corporate aesthetic.
Each contributor was filmed using a dual-camera setup, allowing us to alternate between wider and tighter compositions throughout the edit. This creates more engaging pacing and provides flexibility when removing pauses or refining answers without introducing noticeable jump cuts.
Lighting was designed to complement the venue rather than dominate it. Soft key lighting was combined with the existing practical lighting within the office to create separation and depth while maintaining a clean, professional appearance appropriate for the engineering sector.
Audio was captured using broadcast-quality wireless microphones, ensuring every interview remained clear despite the busy networking environment. By keeping the interview setup efficient and unobtrusive, contributors were able to remain relaxed and focused on the conversation rather than the equipment surrounding them.
Capturing the Atmosphere of the Event
Alongside the interviews, we captured a wide range of supporting footage that helped build context throughout the film.
Using a combination of handheld operation and smooth gimbal movement, we documented guests arriving, networking sessions, conversations between project teams and the official opening celebrations. Wide establishing shots introduced the new Bristol office, while closer detail shots highlighted branding, refreshments, champagne receptions and interactions between colleagues.
This supporting footage plays an important role during editing. Rather than relying solely on interview content, B-roll allows key talking points to be illustrated visually, creating a film that feels more dynamic while maintaining viewer engagement from beginning to end.
Why Corporate Video Production Bristol Delivers Long-Term Value
A professionally produced corporate film should continue delivering value long after an event has finished.
For Tractebel, the final production provides content that can be used across multiple channels, including the company website, LinkedIn, recruitment campaigns, internal communications and future presentations. Individual interview clips and shorter edits can also be repurposed for social media, allowing a single day of filming to generate a library of content suitable for different audiences.
Producing video in this way enables organisations to maximise the return on a single production while maintaining consistent messaging across their marketing and communications.
